Litigation is not a separate group at the firm. It runs through both practice groups, and each matter is handled by the group that knows the underlying subject.
The firm tries cases in the Michigan circuit and probate courts, in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and in the bankruptcy courts, and it handles appeals from those courts.
