Effective date: November 2, 2026
This website, foleypc.com, is operated by John R. Foley, P.C., a law firm with offices at 18572 West Outer Drive, Dearborn, Michigan 48128, and 1058 Maple Street, Suite 100, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. You can reach the firm at (313) 274-7377. In this policy, “the firm,” “we,” and “us” mean John R. Foley, P.C.
You can read this website without telling us who you are. We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us:
Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services listed below automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. We do not use this information to identify you. The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
The website relies on a few outside services. Each receives only what it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy policy:
The firm’s website does not set its own cookies and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile and LawPay may use cookies or similar technology that their services need to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the security check on our forms may not work if you do.
The firm maintains pages on social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook. The firm manages those pages with an internal tool that connects through each platform’s official application programming interface (API). The access tokens that let the tool connect are stored on the firm’s own server. We use the tool to publish the firm’s own content and may use it to view activity on our pages, such as comments on our posts and summary statistics the platforms provide. We do not sell information obtained through these platforms or use it for anyone else’s marketing, and we handle it as described in this policy.
When you visit or interact with our pages on those platforms, LinkedIn and Meta handle your information under their own privacy policies.
The firm does not sell, rent or trade personal information, and does not share it with others for their marketing.
We keep messages and booking information as long as needed to respond, to handle the matter, and to meet the firm’s professional and legal obligations, including the record-keeping rules that apply to lawyers. If you become a client, your information becomes part of the client file and is kept under the firm’s file retention practices.
The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and the forms are protected by a security check. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us over the internet.
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through this website.
You may ask the firm what personal information it holds about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. This includes any information connected to the firm’s social media pages or to the apps the firm uses to manage its social media pages.
To make a request:
Please tell us your name and how to reach you, and describe the information you are asking about. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. We will respond within a reasonable time and tell you what we deleted. We may keep information that the law or the rules governing lawyers require us to keep, such as client files, and we will tell you if that applies.
Information you share directly with LinkedIn or Meta is controlled by those platforms, and you can manage or delete it through your account settings there.
Using this website, sending the contact form, booking a mediation, or interacting with our social media pages does not create an attorney-client relationship with the firm. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the website forms or social media until an attorney has agreed to represent you.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above.
Questions about this policy can be directed to John R. Foley, P.C. at (313) 274-7377, through our contact form, or by mail to 18572 West Outer Drive, Dearborn, Michigan 48128.
